Our Boca Raton office is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Boca Raton office. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the public accounting industry. This role involves managing a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, processing payroll, and assisting with client accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic CPA firm while working in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Process payroll and handle related tax filings.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Assist with preparing tax returns and other related financial reports.

• Communicate with clients regarding their accounting needs and provide excellent customer service.

• Support senior staff with various ad-hoc accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in public accounting.

• Proficiency in CCH and other accounting software.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be local to the South Florida area.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required..
