About the Position
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Must assess, prioritize, and manage multiple critical patients, including trauma and life-threatening conditions.
Requires proficiency in EKG interpretation, emergency protocols, and use of EMR systems like Epic.
Flexibility to float across units, work night shifts, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams is essential.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
- Must have recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
- Must have at least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
- Must hold an active RN license (state or compact)
- Must have BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications at the time of submission
- Must have recent experience with EPIC EMR
- Must be proficient in EKG interpretation and able to identify lethal rhythms
- Must be flexible to float across units and work variable night shifts
