Job Title: Sandbar Manager
Pay Type: Annual Salary, paid weekly
Reports To: Managing Director, Property Manager
Job Summary: As the Sandbar Manager at Key Colony, you will lead all aspects of the Sandbar’s daily operations, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. This leadership role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing procedures, upholding community standards, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach combined with strategic oversight to enhance the overall guest experience and operational efficiency of one of Key Colony’s most valued amenities.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all daily operations of the sandbar, including setup, supervision, and closing procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sandbar and surrounding recreational areas.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage sandbar staff; provide coaching and performance feedback regularly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally and efficiently.
- Enforce all community rules and safety protocols
- Partner with maintenance and facilities teams to identify and resolve safety issues, repairs, or hazards promptly.
- Plan, coordinate, and support sandbar-related community events and seasonal activities.
- Monitor and manage supply inventories, place orders and maintain proper stock levels.
- Uphold and promote a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all sandbar functions.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, restaurants, property management operations preferred.
- Proven experience in staff leadership and team management.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours based on operational needs.
Schedule:
- Your standard work schedule will be 5 days per week, with 2 days off to be scheduled based on operational needs and mutual agreement.
- Due to special events, you may be required to work on holidays or additional days.
