Strings Sports Brewery , Jacksonville Beach, is currently hiring for back of house positions to join our team.

As a Strings Sports Brewery team member, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, while also assisting in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

Job Descriptions :

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals according to the restaurant’s menu and standards. This role involves ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented according to specifications and that the kitchen operates efficiently.

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role supports the kitchen staff by ensuring that all items are clean, organized, and ready for use.

Key Dishwasher Responsibilities:

• Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Hand-wash items that are not suitable for machine washing.
• Ensure that dishes are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors.
• Dispose of trash and recycling according to restaurant policies.
• Assist in basic kitchen prep work as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Key Cook and Food Prep Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and are of high quality.
• Monitor food stock and ingredients, and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen equipment.
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Assist in menu planning and development, offering suggestions for improvement.
