What You'll Do
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of assigned rolling mill area
- Champion safety and ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Drive performance against KPIs including throughput, yield, downtime, quality, and cost
- Utilize data analytics to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly employees
- Coordinate with maintenance and reliability to maximize uptime
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed
- Support production scheduling and plant coordination
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Support capital planning and operational strategy
- Build a culture of accountability, communication, and teamwork
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years of rolling mill or steel manufacturing experience
- Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role
- Strong understanding of rolling mill processes and equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven leadership and team development capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate across departments
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
