What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and facility occupants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or public agency contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and movement throughout the location, verifying authorized entry and helping to support established protocols for visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and assist with follow-up as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
