SMI Security is a leading security services provider committed to delivering professional and reliable security solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Weekend Front Desk Security Officer in the vibrant Downtown Miami area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and customer-service-oriented Front Desk Security Officer to work part-time on weekends. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a front desk or similar role, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to provide a welcoming and secure environment for our clients.

Schedule:

• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• Monday - Friday - 11p-7a.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist all visitors, residents, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
• Operate and monitor security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.
• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide information and assistance to individuals as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all visitor entries, incidents, and activities.
• Enforce property rules and regulations.
• Respond to and report any security-related incidents or emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Assist with other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a front desk, customer service, or security-related role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in potentially stressful situations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
