Assembler

Description:

The Assembler performs production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables. The role supports assembly, soldering, inspection, testing, rework, and prototype activities in a manufacturing environment using diagrams, drawings, and hand or power tools.

*Contract - 12 Months
*First Shift Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST
*10 Hours OT Required Weekly

*Must be a U.S. Citizen
*$18.00 - $24.00 Hourly

#Education & Job Requirements

*2-4 years of soldering experience
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Hands-on experience soldering wires to terminals and printed circuit boards required
*Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools
*Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed
*May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications
*May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
*Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Job Duties & Functions

*Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
*Solder wires to terminals and printed circuit boards
*Work from diagrams and drawings to complete assembly operations
*Use hand and/or power tools during assembly and production activities
*Make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies
*Conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications
*Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and simulated conditions
