Requirements:

#Role Summary

*In this role, the Technical Writer/Documentation Engineer produces clear, standards-compliant documentation for complex software and engineering systems. Responsibilities include translating technical concepts into user-friendly content, reverse engineering code to create diagrams and functional descriptions, developing Doxygen documentation, and collaborating with engineers and subject-matter experts. The role requires proficiency in C++, C, Python, Git, Microsoft VS-Code, SDLC processes, modeling and simulation, and practical use of AI tools to analyze code and generate technical content.

#Education & Job Requirements

* Must hold a mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering, or physics bachelor’s degree.

* Must have two or more years of experience developing C++, C, and Python software.

* Must utilize Git Version Control effectively.

* Must apply Microsoft VS-Code in daily workflows.

* Must communicate fluently in verbal and written English.

* Must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.

* Must collaborate with engineers to improve understanding, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams.

* Must manage multiple technical writing assignments simultaneously.

* Must leverage Artificial Intelligence to analyze code and create technical content.

* Must use Microsoft Office Suite proficiently.

* Must employ knowledge of modeling and simulation.

* Must understand and follow SDLC (systems development lifecycle) principles.

#Job Duties/Functions

* Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.

* Gain a deep understanding of products and translate complex information into comprehensive, accurate, and standards-compliant content.

* Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights into language for user success.

* Reverse engineer existing code baseline to develop representative block diagrams, functional descriptions, mathematical formulas, and interface diagrams.

* Develop Doxygen content.

* Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
