Medical Director - Broward Health Urgent Care - Weston, FL

Broward Health Physician Group is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and clinically strong Medical Director to lead its outpatient Urgent Care & Diagnostic Clinic in Weston, FL. This is a growth-focused leadership opportunity for a physician who is passionate about high-quality, patient-centered care and interested in shaping the strategic and operational growth of a high-performing urgent care program.

This role blends hands-on clinical practice (80%) with administrative and leadership responsibilities (20%), offering the ideal mix of patient care, clinical leadership, and program development.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume outpatient urgent care setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute, non-emergent medical conditions.
• Ensure consistent delivery of evidence-based, high-quality and efficient care.
• Support optimal patient flow, timely access, and exceptional patient experience.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Serve as the clinical leader and physician champion for the Weston Urgent Care & Diagnostic Clinic.
• Provide medical oversight and quality assurance for clinical operations.
• Partner with operational leadership on clinic performance, access, and throughput, clinical protocols and standardization.
• Participate in program growth strategy, including service expansion, community partnerships and referral alignment.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
• Family Medicine
• Emergency Medicine
• Internal Medicine (with urgent care experience).
• Valid medical license in the state of FL, or ability to obtain a FL license.
• Minimum 3-5 years of urgent care, emergency or outpatient acute care experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
