Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public. Must have knowledge of medical terminology. Must have knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances. Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing admission practices. Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word Must understand and be up to date with the Federal and State regulations for SNF's related to admissions. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends Ability to read and write in English Must be at least 18 years of age. Education and Experience: Must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field 3- 5 years' experience in Long Term Care, which can include an SNF, ALF, Hospital or similar healthcare organization and in a similar titled position Knowledge of healthcare Federal and State regulatory standards. Background Screening Requirement: This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
