Our Pastry Chefs work alongside the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs to keep the entire kitchen functioning properly. We are looking for creative individuals who have artistic abilities to decorate visually appealing desserts for our guests. Essential Job Duties :- Preparing, measuring, mixing, cooking, baking, and executing recipes from scratch including breads, pastries, and desserts
- Plating desserts as well as cheese and charcuterie during dinner service
- Upholding sanitation standards for food preparation, clean working conditions, and maintaining organized pastry stations and equipment
- Ordering necessary ingredients and maintaining inventory sheets
- Communicating with front of house staff
- Willingness to work with others to provide the highest level of hospitality
- Proven experience in the pastry arts - 2+ years
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to follow recipes precisely
- Positive attitude and motivation to create exceptional desserts
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field desirable
