Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team near Margate, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining smooth billing processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to exceptional service. Responsibilities: - Oversee accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation. - Accurately prepare and process billing for projects, adhering to established timelines and guidelines. - Manage lien release documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements. - Communicate with clients and vendors to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues. - Answer incoming calls professionally, providing assistance and information as needed. - Perform bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and maintaining organized financial records. - Support month-end closing processes by preparing reports and ensuring accuracy. - Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations and reporting. - Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and meet deadlines. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and bookkeeping, preferably within the construction industry. - Proficiency in AIA billing processes and familiarity with lien release documentation. - Strong skills in commercial collections, cash applications, and billing functions. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for client and vendor interactions. - High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of financial processes and regulations relevant to the role.
