Construction Recruiter
Job Description
Job Description
Clark Electric is looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Recruiter to support hiring efforts across Florida. This is an in-office position based in a fast-paced construction environment.
This role is responsible for managing the full recruiting process for both field and office positions — including electricians, mechanics, superintendents, project support staff, and office personnel. The Recruiter will work closely with operations and leadership teams to identify hiring needs, maintain recruiting workflows, and ensure candidates move efficiently through the hiring process.
We’re looking for someone who communicates professionally, stays organized, follows through consistently, and can build strong relationships with both candidates and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for field and office positions across Florida
- Partner with hiring managers and operations teams to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
- Post open positions through ADP ATS and other recruiting platforms
- Review resumes, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews
- Conduct detailed candidate screenings and maintain accurate recruiting notes and documentation
- Maintain candidate workflow and recruiting activity within ADP ATS
- Coordinate offer letters, onboarding steps, and pre-employment processes including drug testing
- Manage candidate communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process
- Maintain recruiting records, reports, and staffing documentation within company systems and server folders
- Track recruiting metrics, candidate sources, hiring trends, and ad performance
- Participate in staffing meetings and provide regular recruiting updates to leadership
- Build candidate pipelines through online sourcing, referrals, trade schools, networking, and local outreach efforts
- Support employer branding efforts through recruiting events, social media, and community engagement
- Ensure recruiting activities remain compliant with company policies and employment regulations
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced industry
- Experience managing multiple open positions and competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams, leadership, and candidates at all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment that requires urgency, responsiveness, and attention to detail
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and reporting tools
- Ability to maintain accurate records and organized recruiting documentation
It’s a Plus If You Have
- Experience recruiting electricians, superintendents, mechanics, or other skilled trades positions
- Knowledge of Florida labor markets and construction recruiting
- Experience with ADP ATS or similar applicant tracking systems
- Experience tracking recruiting metrics and managing recruiting reports
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills within the trades industry
What Success Looks Like
- Open positions are filled efficiently with qualified, reliable candidates
- Recruiting workflows, communication, and documentation remain accurate and up to date
- Staffing needs are proactively supported with strong candidate pipelines
- Recruiting activity and hiring progress are consistently communicated to leadership
