Lion Country Safari is seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing & Events Coordinator to support marketing initiatives and manage the planning and execution of successful company events (both private & public).

This position requires a high level of flexibility and teamwork, excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, self-motivation, organization and follow-through. As a highly visible representative of Lion Country Safari, the Marketing & Events Coordinator must always conduct themself in an exemplary and professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels.
  • Maintain marketing materials and inventory.
  • Conduct market research and identify trends and opportunities to build revenue generation.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of company events, including corporate or client events, public events at the park, as well as internal events, conferences, trade shows as needed.
  • Manage event logistics with on-site support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Create and distribute event information timely and effectively through internal communications.
  • Track event attendance, gather feedback, and prepare post-event reports.
  • Handle on-site event management and troubleshooting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Event Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and/or event planning, preferably in an attraction setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events as needed.
  • Familiarity with Galaxy Gateway, CRM software, or basic graphic design skills is preferred but not required.
