- Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
- Implement Montessori-based educational practices to promote learning through exploration.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hygiene practices.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages learning and play.
- Support children in developing social skills and emotional intelligence.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the curriculum and classroom experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience in childcare or a related field is highly desirable.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
- Knowledge of Montessori principles is a plus.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to state licensing requirements.
- Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
