Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - 2 references from authority figures within the last year - Flu vaccine required during designated timeframe - COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only Description: This position requires experience in an intensive care unit. The nurse will provide care to critically ill patients with complex needs. Ratios for patient care are between 1:2-3. The ability to work holidays and weekends is necessary to fulfill scheduling requirements. The nurse may be required to float to other units or locations based on staffing needs. Skills required include managing central lines, ventilation, and administering emergency medications. The nurse must be adept at interacting with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. A background in accessing and managing ports, arterial lines, and initiating and maintaining IVs is essential. Experience with a variety of critical care conditions and treatments is necessary. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their capability in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing emergencies effectively. This role will involve ongoing assessments and interventions for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Candidates must be prepared to uphold infection control protocols and manage ventilated patients. A commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork is vital in this setting. About Cynet Health
