Environmental Software Developer
Description
As a member of the EarthSoft Development team, you will assist in the development of EQuIS, EarthSoft’s Environmental and Geotechnical Data Management System product line. You will work closely with other developers, client managers, and support technicians to maintain, develop, and support the most widely used environmental data management system in the world. You will be involved in client-driven, agile development using Microsoft .NET technologies as well as HTML/Javascript/CSS.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication (in English)
- Ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools
- High initiative; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- 1-3 years of experience in object-oriented development (preferably in Microsoft .NET and/or HTML/Javascript/CSS)
- Familiarity with agile development
- Experience with database development, including Microsoft SQL Server
- Environmental knowledge/experience is highly desirable but not required
