Patient Care Coordinator
Epic Plastic Surgery, a leading Miami-based cosmetic surgery practice led by Dr. Orlando Llorente, is dedicated to providing personalized care, patient safety, and natural-looking aesthetic results. Our philosophy goes beyond enhancing appearance; we believe cosmetic surgery is about boosting confidence and improving overall well-being. Our clinic offers a comprehensive range of procedures including breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks, Brazilian butt lifts, mommy makeovers, injectables, and medical weight loss treatments. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate care and personalized attention to each patient. We are currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our dedicated and professional team. This role is critical in ensuring our patients have an exceptional experience from their initial consultation through their entire treatment journey. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate appointments, consultations, and follow-ups while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment that reflects Epic Plastic Surgery’s commitment to personalized aesthetic solutions and patient confidence.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive first impression.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments, consultations, and follow-ups efficiently using the clinic’s scheduling system.
- Provide detailed information to patients about available cosmetic surgery procedures, treatments, and preparation guidelines.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff to ensure clear communication regarding treatment plans and expectations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with health privacy regulations.
- Coordinate insurance verifications, authorizations, and assist patients with financial or payment processing inquiries.
- Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and encourage ongoing engagement with clinic services.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as handling phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and managing patient flow within the clinic.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a patient care coordinator, medical receptionist, or in a related healthcare role is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage patients compassionately and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple appointments and patient information accurately.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and occasional extended hours as required.
