Sindy Walters - Managing Director:
- How long with NM? Been with NM for 18 years.
- Background? Born in Venezuela and grew up in Colombia. Moved to Orlando at 17 years old.
- Prior Experience? She started her career in the financial services industry with Northwestern Mutual in 2007, shortly after graduating from UCF with a degree in Business.
- Mission? Impacting the Hispanic and minority market in Central Florida, and bringing financial literacy and a call to action to each household while making it an enjoyable experience.
- Passionate About? Finds joy in traveling the world, giving back to the community, and spending time with her loving family.
- How long with NM? Been with NM for 20 years.
- Prior Experience? Received a degree in Finance from UCF. Started his career in the financial services industry through an Internship with Northwestern Mutual in 2003 and within a year had opened up a scratch financial planning office in Greater Orlando.
- Passionate About? Loves spending time with his wife and 2 children. Also enjoys spending time on the golf course and giving back to his community.
- How long with NM? Joined Northwestern Mutual in June of 2024.
- Prior Experience? Former certified personal trainer and worked at UCF as the strength coach for their football team.
- Passionate About? Enjoys spending time weight lifting and training, his faith, and being with his loved ones.
- How long with NM? Joined Northwestern Mutual in January of 2025.
- Prior Experience? Was a corporate executive as well as an author prior to starting with NM.
- Passionate About? Loves spending time with her 2 children and husband, enjoys the beach, and watching documentaries.
- How long with NM? Joined Northwestern Mutual in October of 2023.
- Prior Experience? Started in the banking industry at the age of 15 doing an internship at Addition Financial. Also owns a gym called Greed Island Barbell.
- Passionate About? Loves spending time with his wife and 2 dogs. Is passionate about building an enduring financial planning practice where he helps business owners, families & government employees plan for the future.
Qualifications: We prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline. While prior experience in insurance, financial services, or business development is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capability to build lasting client relationships. We welcome individuals from business development-oriented organizations with uncapped earnings potential, including those from Medical Device, Education (teachers, administrators), Logistics, Solar, Payroll Services, Tech Business Development, Real Estate, Auto Rental and others. You will be required to obtain state insurance licenses, with training provided and sponsorship considered.
