Low Voltage Installation Technician

The ideal candidate will have low voltage installation knowledge and possess a strong work ethic to progress into a future role with guidance from a senior technician.This role involves the installation, maintenance, and management of low voltage systems, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and testing of low-voltage cabling and devices
• Pull and terminate network cables
• Mount equipment, cameras, and devices
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues
• Read and follow installation drawings and instructions
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Travel to customer locations throughout the region

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous construction, electrical, or technical experience
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Interest in networking, security systems, or technology
• Must be able to pass a background check
