TEAM LEAD for sorting department!

As the SORTING TEAM LEAD, your responsibilities will include:

*Communicate in English and Spanish to your team (BILINGUAL A MUST)*

Organize and process loads in order provided by Operations Team Lead.

Oversee setup and breakdown of load area carts by load type.

Keep sorting team members on task and following processes to meet daily productivity goals.

Electronically log and record load weights by material type - HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

Process post sorted materials into bale department.

Process empty carts into designated areas.

Coordinate with material handler removal of waste and gaylords.

Keep area clean and organized with a focus on safety.

The sorting department is responsible for bulk grading/sorting of various different laundered textile goods by material type/quality.

This position requires you to be standing for extended periods of time, must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and may be asked to do other miscellaneous tasks around the facility/property. You should be able to speak, understand, read and write in English and be able to speak and understand Spanish to communicate with all members of your team.
