Bookkeeper (Senior Level)

Salary: Up to $90,000, commensurate with experience

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing and dynamic organization in the Medicare supplies / Medicare manufacturing space. This is a key role for someone who is confident, organized, and experienced in managing full-cycle bookkeeping in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with QuickBooks , and preferably Acumatica , along with a solid understanding of inventory, compliance, and reporting within regulated healthcare or manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping , including AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations

• Maintain accurate general ledger and month-end close processes

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Track and reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS)

• Support Medicare-related accounting , including documentation, compliance, and audits

• Work closely with management on cash flow tracking, budgeting, and forecasting

• Prepare records for CPA review, tax filings, and external audits

• Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple entities (if applicable)

• Improve and maintain internal accounting controls and processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)

• Experience handling inventory and manufacturing accounting

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial records

• Strong communication skills and professionalism

Preferred / Plus Experience

• Experience in Medicare supplies, DME, healthcare, or Medicare manufacturing

• Hands-on experience with Acumatica (major plus)

• Experience working with CPAs, auditors, or regulatory bodies

• Understanding of healthcare or Medicare compliance requirements
