JOB ID 23104 – First-Party Collections Specialist
Location: Odessa, FL 33556 – This position is onsite
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 10am-7pm and Friday 9am-6pm
Job description:
- Engage customers via inbound and outbound phone calls, text messages, and email to resolve past-due accounts while delivering a professional, customer-focused experience.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically in both verbal and written interactions, offering payment solutions that encourage positive customer engagement.
- Negotiate and secure payment arrangements in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, including FDCPA requirements.
- Accurately document all customer interactions, payment commitments, and account activity with strong attention to detail.
- Identify account discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining compliance knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:
- Must have (1) year of debt collections
- Recent experience in collections, customer service, or account management preferred
- Must have professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to manage high volume and prioritize in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with high attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check required
- Drug screening required
