Staff Accountant
Seacrest Services, Inc. is a respected leader in property management, known for its dedication to outstanding customer service and operational excellence. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of multiple residential communities. This full-time, in-person position is based at our corporate office and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a knowledgeable team, property managers, and association boards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for multiple residential properties
- Manage the financial close process for assigned properties, ensuring timely completion and compliance with company standards
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts, identifying and explaining variances to budget
- Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual budget preparation and review client financial statements for accuracy
- Collaborate with property managers, association boards, and internal staff to support smooth financial operations
- Support year-end audits by working with external auditors and providing necessary documentation
- Review vendor payments and related general ledger accounts for accuracy
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures to enhance departmental workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience; experience in financial reporting and general ledger preferred
- At least 1 year of property management accounting experience preferred
- BA/BS in Accounting or Business preferred; emphasis in accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Word
- Experience with Vantaca or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of responsibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
