Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a middle to large/national book of business, including hotels, condos, contractors and LRO accounts with premiums of more than $100,000. This role involves full account servicing—handling submissions, policy reviews, endorsements, COIs and client communications—while providing exceptional customer service. This position is 100% remote and is contract to hire.
Serve as account executive to book of business brought in by agency owner.
Manage middle to large/national market book of business of about 50 accounts.
Provide excellent customer service.
Prepare applications for submission.
Review and prepare submissions, quote comparisons, forms and coverage reviews on behalf of producers.
Conduct policy reviews, recommend coverages, and prepare proposals for new/renewal business and/or additional lines of coverage.
Bind policies.
Provide endorsements.
Order loss runs.
Review issued policies for accuracy.
Issue Certificates of Insurance.
Maintain proper documentation of customer contacts, inquiry responses and account management–related communications.
Requirements:
5+ years of commercial lines account management experience in a Florida independent agency working with Florida market
Experience working with mid- to large/national accounts
Working experience of the above job responsibilities
Active FL 220 license or non-resident 920 license
2+ years of EPIC experience
Knowledge of both ES and admitted markets
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $32-35 hourly.
