Accounts Payable Specialist
Description
Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building materials company, is seeking a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist for the Corporate office in Clearwater, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Accounts Payable relating to inventory
- Organize emails from vendors and prepare for payment
- Match vendor invoices with purchase order receiving and research discrepancies
- Code and enter all Payables, including expenses, into system
- Handle weekly check run
- File paid Accounts Payables
- Review open purchase orders and research with the Purchasing and Receiving departments
- Review purchase order receipts with no vendor invoices
- Review vendor invoices with no purchase order receipts
- Review pre-paid purchases with no receipts and/or invoices
- Process Inter-Company payments and copy Billing department for pass-through expenses
- Research vendor statements
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times
- All other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- 2-5 years of experience or education
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong customer service, analysis, and problem resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Must be a team player
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Word
