Northbridge University is looking for a qualified Regional Director of Financial Aid .

Lakeland Campus and Tampa Campus : In-Person / On-site.

Regional Director of Financial Aid will provide students with the maximum amount of financial aid that they are entitled to according to the applicable regulations, with timely service and the utmost quality.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields of accounting, finance, business, administration, etc. required
  • At least 3 years of Financial Aid work experience in a supervisory position.
  • Prior experience working in proprietary schools preferred
  • Availability to travel and work rotating hours, nights, and weekends.
  • Availability to attend conferences and professional development events to stay current on Financial Aid regulations, trends, and policy changes.
  • Excellent technology skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), CampusVue, among others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Office for the assigned locations.
  • Provide direction and leadership in the implementation of all policies, procedures, programs and services of the Financial Aid Department to ensure timely and high quality service to all students.
  • Comply with the Document Retention policy and disposal of documents. In addition, to perform a proper filing process.
  • Collaborate in maintaining student records with all required documents duly completed and preserved.
  • Review, document and approve students with unusual circumstances such as, but not limited to: Dependency Override, Professional Judgment, Plus Override, and Unusual Enrollment.
  • Coordinate with the corresponding personnel the management of schedules, training and tasks of the participants of the Federal Work Study program; complying with institutional policies and
  • federal regulation.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of FA department to support FTC goals in terms of start, retention, and financial budgets.
  • Collaborate with the designated institutional staff in the evaluation and resolution, if applicable, of disbursement eligibility exceptions so that students can receive their financial aid on time.
  • Supervise and collaborate in the determination of student eligibility to receive the various financial aid funds to which they are entitled, verify, process, and grant these in accordance with the need
  • analysis and current state and federal regulations.
  • Responsible to monitor students receive a high-level service experience.
  • Report to your assigned campuses to reinforce supervision and staff performance within the Financial Aid Department.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with the Financial Aid personnel as required in order to keep them informed on matters related to the Department and the Institution.
  • Monitor that the Financial Aid personnel are in continuous compliance with institutional policies, procedures and regulations and that their work is performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Responsible for the effective control and adequate management of federal, state, and institutional funds assigned.
  • Actively participate in meetings and/or Institutional events as required.
