Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. As a vital member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, sharing menu knowledge, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry.
• Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings, to enhance guest experience.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms.
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with food preparation or bussing tables during busy periods to support the team’s workflow.
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, prompt problem resolution, and personalized interactions.
• Support the restaurant’s overall cleanliness by bussing tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Proven ability in upselling and sales techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations.
• Knowledge of culinary terminology or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and hospitality standards.
• Must speak English.
