Account Receivables Specialist

Environmental Products Group is a best-in-class municipal and infrastructure equipment distributor with multiple locations in the Southeast. This is an opportunity to join a growing team within our brand-new corporate headquarters.

We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Accounts Receivables Specialist. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the accounting team.

Accounting Clerk Duties:

• Making collection calls as needed for past due customer payments
• Input AR notes into CDK
• Make sure vendors are set-up and accurate vendor information is in system
• Resolving all payment discrepancies
• Reconcile AR customer accounts & credit card payments
• Take credit card payments
• Create cash receipts for all ACH and check payments toward customers' balance.
• Other task as assigned

Requirements:

• Requirements:
• Fundamental/basic accounting courses preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in general accounting role
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• CDK experience is a plus
• Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills
• Team Player with high level of dedication, able to work at times independently
• Proper phone/email ettiguette
• A positive, growth mindset

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week.
