Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support for students during the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with educational and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a school-based setting with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators and families
Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
