Accounting Clerk

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Individual will generate accurate and timely daily invoicing and distribute invoicing to customers/internally.
- Individual will perform accounts payable functions including transaction coding and processing, vendor interface, check distribution and vendor files.
- Individual must have the ability to problem solve and work with cross-functional team members to ask questions, trouble shoot and resolve processing issues for invoicing and accounts payable.
- Individual will generate and distribute weekly contractor and bi-weekly employee time cards and support the payroll processing requirements.
- Individual will generate/support weekly/monthly reporting requirements by generating reports and account reconciliations as needed to support financial and reporting needs.
- Maintain information systems. Completes accurate records (on paper and electronic data) in order to provide excellent results. Also complete accurate records for continuous improvement and paperless initiatives.
- Individual must be able to work independently with minimal guidance required. This implies good time management, planning/organization, and decision-making skills.
- Individual must be able to work well in teams with others from diverse organizational functions and backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor.
