Overview
The Data Quality Assurance Analyst ensures the accuracy and reliability of business data by validating reporting and analytics outputs, using SQL and structured testing to identify issues before release. Partners with BI and data teams to support reporting quality, system changes, and confident decision-making.

What you will need

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong SQL, Power BI, DAX, and Python skills for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

How you will make an Impact

• Ensure accuracy and readiness of dashboards, reports, and datasets for business use
• Validate data across the full pipeline, from source systems to Power BI outputs
• Use SQL to reconcile data, investigate variances, and confirm data integrity
• Review KPIs, calculations, and DAX measures against business requirements
• Develop and maintain validation routines, test plans, and QA processes
• Perform regression testing and support system and data changes
• Support UAT by creating test scenarios, tracking defects, and coordinating with stakeholders
• Document issues, root causes, and resolutions clearly
• Assist with data audits and ensure ongoing reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with BI and data engineering teams for release readiness
• Promote QA standards and maintain testing documentation and artifacts
