3rd Shift Security Supervisor
Job Summary:
The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking experienced and dedicated Security Supervisors to lead and support our Security Operations Center (SOC) and Patrol Officers across all shifts. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and vendors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate SOC and Patrol Officers across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
- Ensure compliance with established security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Deliver clear, concise directives and conduct shift briefings to ensure operational continuity.
- Operate and monitor advanced Video Management and Access Control systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members, WEC staff, and management regarding security matters.
- Foster a professional and respectful environment through exemplary customer service.
- Review and prepare detailed reports on shift activities, incidents, and maintenance issues.
- Manage shift schedules and respond to staffing changes as needed.
- Lead emergency response efforts in accordance with established protocols.

- Stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods, including during inclement weather.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, which may involve running, climbing stairs, or lifting/moving objects or individuals.
- Perform routine inspections and access various areas of the property, including outdoor and indoor environments.
- Operate security equipment and technology, including surveillance systems and communication devices.
- Maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure or physically demanding situations.
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Flexible availability to cover additional shifts when necessary.
- Proficiency in computer systems and security technology.
