ServiceNow Application Developer

: BAE Systems has an opening on our team either remote or in Charlotte, NC for a ServiceNow Application Developer, reporting directly to the Servicenow Director. This position will require the ServiceNow Application Developer to collaboratively work within a team of ServiceNow developers to design, develop and implement enterprise wide solutions which create significant business value for BAE Systems. Consults with key stakeholders to develop requirements for enterprise solutions. Develops sound innovative solutions which enable process optimization and automation and create business value. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education and Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• A minimum of 2 Years of working experience with development and implementation of at least 1 ServiceNow application.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience with ServiceNow web development
• A minimum of 2 years' of scripting
• Familiar with the Agile methodology. Being able to lead small project teams is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with customers about these topics.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS. Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML);
  Experience in developing solutions within the Service Portal and applying User Interface concepts.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $61830 - $105120 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
