Manufacturing Engineer
We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in Largo, FL to work at an industry leading manufacturing company. Ideally, candidates will have experience as an Industrial Engineer or Manuacturing Engineer, but entry-level engineering candidates are encouraged to apply. location: Largo, Florida
job type: Contract
salary: $25 - 40 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes.
- Reviews specifications and bid proposals and cost estimate requests to establish the feasibility of accepting orders.
- Determines manufacturability, investment requirements, product cost and delivery schedules.
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Develops processes, methods, tooling, and production controls for new products and programs; supervises their assembly and proofing.
- Monitors continuous improvement with regards to scrap reduction and uptime optimization.
