We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Director to join our esteemed team of emergency associates and specialists in Sarasota, FL. Our mission is to provide exceptional veterinary medicine with warmth, compassion, and respect for our clients and referring base. Our robust ER department and specialists have earned a highly regarded reputation in our community, and we take pride in our positive culture based on mutual appreciation and a shared love for the emergency and specialty lifestyle.

As a Medical Director, you will help guide our experienced team of emergency doctors and specialists. Our progressive and supportive environment encourages continuous learning and growth as clinicians, and we need someone in a leadership role who everyone feels comfortable turning to. We offer opportunities for doctors to expand their skills in areas such as endoscopy, hyperbaric oxygen treatment protocols, and more.

Our hospital has a collaborative approach, with strong support from our Internal Medicine and Surgery departments, a team of 21 skilled technicians, 5 client service representatives, a pharmacy manager, and a practice manager.

More About the Hospital

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, our in-house diagnostics include CBC/chem and blood gas analyzers, coagulation profiles, bile acids, cortisol testing, Heska blood typing, Scopio digital slide reader, and cytospin. Additionally, we have advanced equipment such as Vimago CT, force triad vessel fusion, Veterinary PRP/stem cell centrifuge, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, Synder oxygen cages, and a therapeutic laser.

We are looking for a self-aware, self-confident, and dedicated individual with a positive and upbeat demeanor. While surgical skills are preferred, they are not required. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team, bringing progressive ideas and philosophies to contribute to the growth of our practice. Effective leadership and the ability to direct a team of skilled technicians respectfully are essential qualities for this role.
