Our client is a professional and client-focused law firm in Downtown Bradenton seeking a dependable and organized Legal Office Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for their office. This role is essential to keeping daily operations running smoothly and ensuring a welcoming, efficient experience for their clients. Position Overview
The Legal Office Support Specialist provides front desk and administrative support to attorneys and staff. This role combines reception duties with legal and office organization responsibilities and is ideal for someone who is great at multitasking, staying organized, being a self-starter, and working in a professional legal environment. This position has the potential for growth into a Legal Assistant role based on performance and the needs of the firm. Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in person and manage the front door reception
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
- Assist with opening, organizing, filing, and maintaining physical and digital legal files
- Provide general administrative and legal support to attorneys and staff as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area
- Assist with copying, scanning, and other office tasks
- Ability to keep up with a very high volume of email traffic
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in an office, reception, or administrative role preferred
- Experience in a legal office is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable using basic office technology (phones, email, scanners, filing systems, etc.)
