POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is an industry leader in [Insert Industry, e.g., Industrial Automation/Medical Device/Aerospace] innovation. We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer who possesses the rare ability to navigate the entire product lifecycle—from the first analog circuit trace in Altium to the final line of C code on the production build server.

This is a high-autonomy role designed for a "builder" who understands how hardware and software must harmonize. You will be responsible for mixed-signal design, firmware development, and the implementation of robust testing environments (HIL) to ensure mission-critical reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hardware Design & Layout: Architect and generate complex mixed-signal electronics designs and analog circuits using Altium Designer .

• Firmware Development: Design and optimize embedded software primarily in C , ensuring high performance in resource-constrained environments.

• Systems Integration: Lead the "Board Bring-Up" process, debugging hardware-software interactions and conducting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.

• DevOps & Tooling: Administer the build server environment and maintain rigorous source control and issue-tracking protocols to ensure code integrity.

• Design Quality: Drive the design review process, including DFMEA analysis , to identify and mitigate potential failure modes early in the development cycle.

• Software Versatility: Develop supporting applications and scripts using C# and Python for testing, automation, and system interfacing.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Software Engineering (SE), or a related technical field.

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing Embedded Systems.

• Programming Mastery: Highly proficient in C for embedded applications, with additional experience in C# and Python for system-level tools.

• Hardware Literacy: Proven experience designing analog circuits and mixed-signal systems using Altium Designer .

• Testing & Validation: Deep experience with board bring-up, debugging, and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing.

• Process Discipline: Familiarity with DFMEA , formal design reviews, and version control (Git/SVN) in a build-server environment.
