- Prepares monthly schedules for the assigned unit, ensuring coverage for all cases scheduled and add-on cases.
- Assists with performance appraisals, corrective actions, and counseling. Provides required documentation for personnel files in a timely manner. Utilizes time effectively and accomplish duties within the necessary timeframe with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned. Communicates courteously with internal and external customers in person or on the telephone.
- Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.
- Participates in hourly rounding using the AIDET technique to improve patient outcomes. Incorporates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of productivity tools Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred] Work Experience:
• 1+ experience as rn in critical care or relevant specialty area [Preferred]
• 1+ leadership experience [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) [Required]
