We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to take ownership of a high-impact software platform designed to power operational excellence and business growth across the property management and real estate industry.

This is a mission-critical leadership role . You will be responsible not only for building and scaling the system, but for leading, mentoring, and directing a team of developers while setting the technical standard for the organization.

You will step into a platform that is actively launching and evolving, working directly with leadership and a strong development team to shape both the product and the architecture moving forward.

We are actively building out our in-office engineering team in Tampa . We’ve created a purpose-built development environment designed for collaboration, speed, and creativity —a space that feels more like a high-performance lab than a traditional office. It’s an environment where engineers can move fast, solve problems together in real time, and stay closely connected to the people actually using the platform.

We’ve built a modern, AI-integrated platform to support property managers and real estate professionals.

From automation to intelligent lead handling, maintenance workflows, business development pipelines, and financial tools—it’s designed to simplify operations and unlock growth for real estate businesses.

Our users are active operators in the field, and the impact of what you build is immediate and visible. You will work closely with them, gaining real-time feedback that directly shapes the product.

• Backend: Node.js (Express), PostgreSQL
• AI Integration: OpenAI, Claude Code
• Infrastructure: AWS

What You’ll Own

This is a leadership + execution role . You will be expected to lead by example while elevating the entire team.

• Architect and scale full end-to-end systems across frontend, backend, and database layers
• Lead, mentor, and direct a team of developers—setting technical direction, reviewing code, and enforcing standards
• Translate product and business goals into clear technical roadmaps and execution plans
• Own the software development lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, and iteration
• Drive adoption of AI integrations and workflow automation across the platform
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability—making key infrastructure decisions in AWS
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and architectural inefficiencies
• Establish and improve engineering standards across code quality, documentation, testing, and CI/CD
• Work directly with leadership and end users to continuously refine and improve the platform

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can both build and lead.

• 5+ years of full stack development experience with strong expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and React
• Proven experience leading developers, mentoring teams, and driving technical execution
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience with AI tools or APIs (OpenAI, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) is a strong plus
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools like n8n or similar
• Experience working in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in person with both engineers and operational teams
• Must have an active GitHub profile or public code samples
