Gift Shop Cashier - Part Time
Job Title: Gift Shop Cashier
Department: Gift Shop
Reporting Relationship: Gift Shop Manager
Status: Part Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly
Starting Wage: $14.00/hr
Summary of Duties: The employee will be responsible for operating a cash register while strictly adhering to Gatorland’s Cash Handling Policy. The employee will also be responsible for the neatness of their designated areas while promoting great customer service and our company’s mission statement of “providing fun, smiles and special memories to all of our guests.”
Primary Duties:
- Provide good customer service
- Operate cash register
- Accuracy in cash handling
- Maintain neatness of area
- Performs other duties as requested
- Able to be cross-trained in both gift shop and admissions.
Education, experience and specialized skills and knowledge requirements:
Previous experience in retail environment a plus. Must have cash handling experience. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate well with others. Must be available for all shifts as they rotate during the summer months.
