Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a small business or entrepreneurial environment

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CPA or working toward certification is a plus

We’re a growing small business passionate about delivering exceptional service and building a strong, supportive team. As we scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to take ownership of our financial operations and help us make informed, strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

• Coordinate with external CPA for tax filings and audits

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
