Your impact

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Financial Contract Coordinator to support our project teams and help deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in partnering with Project Managers to support financial and operational aspects of project delivery. You’ll help manage contract budgets, monitor project financial health, coordinate subcontractor activities, and contribute to process efficiency. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and think critically will directly impact project success and team performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Project Managers in coordinating project deliverables, scope development, and labor estimates
  • Assist with financial management of project budgets, forecasting, and expense tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, financial status, and contract documentation
  • Track internal processes including invoice approvals, project setups, and quality reviews
  • Manage and review subconsultant invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms
  • Assist in preparation and review of monthly client invoices
  • Coordinate procurement of subcontracted services, including administering subcontracts and change orders
  • Partner with project controls teams (internal and external) to ensure alignment and accuracy of data
  • Track project action items, commitments, and deliverables, and follow up with team members
  • Participate in client and internal team meetings as needed
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and team efficiency
  • Apply established policies, procedures, systems, and tools in all aspects of work

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting project financials, contract administration, or project coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Experience working in an engineering, construction, or consulting environment
  • Familiarity with project controls, procurement processes, or subcontract management
  • Experience managing or reviewing subcontractor agreements and invoices
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

75,300.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

703,500.00

Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, and caregiver leave. And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.

The base salary range for this position is $75,300.00 to $703,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
