Asphalt Crew Member

R.E. Beckner Construction, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hardworking Asphalt Crew Member to join our team. As an integral part of our asphalt paving team, you will help prepare, install, and finish asphalt on roads, driveways, and parking lots. We have multiple positions open in our paving division.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation, placement, and compaction of asphalt
• Operate basic tools and equipment such as shovels, rakes, tampers, and compactors
• Support the machine operators as directed to ensure a smooth paving process
• Work safely and maintain clean, organized job sites
• Perform quality control checks and assist with project completion

Requirements:

• Experience in asphalt or construction work preferred but not required – we offer training for the right candidate!
• Ability to work in outdoor environments with variable weather conditions
• Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and long hours on foot
• A team player with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Work locations: Offices based out of Pinellas and Citrus Counties with jobs located throughout the central west Florida region.
