Patient Service Representative
We are seeking two Patient Service Representatives to support a healthcare system in a remote capacity. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience by ensuring accurate scheduling and/or completion of financial clearance activities. Candidates must be able to work in a fast‑paced, production‑driven call center environment.
Available Shifts (EST or CST candidates only)
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm EST
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm EST
Key Requirement

Job Responsibilities
If assigned to Financial Clearance:
- Verify and collect patient demographic and financial information to create complete pre‑registered accounts.
- Complete pre‑certification and authorization processes with insurers and facilities.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Provide financial guidance and follow department policies related to coverage, authorizations, and available payment options.
- Collaborate with team members when needed.
If assigned to Scheduling:
- Handle standard outpatient appointment scheduling with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide callers with appointment details, test preparation information, directions, and assistance with cancellations/rescheduling.
- Manage basic order-related inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Creole bilingual – required
- 1–3 years of call center experience
- 1–3 years of scheduling experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience handling high‑volume calls (preferred)
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
- Familiarity with dual monitors and Windows-based systems
- Basic typing and strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.10 - $18.10/hr.
