Operations Manager
This position will report to our Director of Operations and work with the entire Playboy organization (Brand and Marketing, Print & Digital, Licensing, Legal, Finance & Accounting, and People Operations), as well as our external partners, collaborating with stakeholders to help project manage, coordinate people and resources, create and refine processes, ensure compliance, track all progress & status, and ensure timely delivery dates.
You will be responsible for supporting the project management of these day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, alignment with strategic vision, and legal compliance, including but not limited to, contracts and agreements for all content productions, writers, agents, photographers, models and vendors.

Support daily business operations across editorial, digital content, marketing, events, and brand partnerships
Help develop and implement operational systems, processes, and standard operating procedures
Manage project timelines and resource allocation for campaigns, product launches, and events
Coordinate cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, production, and external partners
Track and manage departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
Establish and monitor KPIs related to content output, audience growth, operational efficiency, and revenue support
Improve workflows using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Airtable)
Ensure compliance with legal, licensing, and brand guidelines
Support leadership with operational reporting and forecasting
Help manage budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation
Track and report on operational KPIs, performance metrics, and project timelines
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, editorial, digital, and sales teams
Improve tools and systems used for content calendars, campaign tracking, and project management
Support remote and hybrid team operations, scheduling, and resource planning, ensure legal, compliance, and brand standards are followed across operations
What You’ll Bring - Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Media Management, or related field (preferred)
3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or media/lifestyle environments
Experience working in digital media, publishing, lifestyle brands, or creative industries
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong understanding of digital media production cycles, brand collaborations, and content workflows
Experience working with cross-functional creative and corporate teams
Ability to create and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment
Analytical mindset with experience reporting on metrics and performance
Proficiency with project management, collaboration, and analytics tools
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience with influencer marketing, talent management, or live events
Familiarity with media buying, campaign analytics, and audience engagement metrics
Knowledge of licensing, rights management, and content distribution
Experience with content management systems (CMS), media planning tools, and project management platforms (Asana, Monday, Airtable, etc.)
Familiarity with influencer partnerships, brand collaborations, and e-commerce operations
Corporate/office setting with hybrid work flexibility
Occasional travel for shoots, events, or brand activations
Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $70-85K; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
