Video Game Advisor

:

This position ensures customers are greeted on the sales floor, and informed on any questions they might have. Game Advisors also share product knowledge with customers, processes customer transactions, and provides a clean, organized store environment in which to shop. The principal business outcome for this role is higher levels of overall store performance and customer satisfaction. (Please read all details)

*Game Craze Does have two locations Cape Coral(open 7 days a week) and Fort Myers-Fleamasters(open friday, saturday and sunday), this postion does require the ability to be able to work at both locations*

*Game Craze hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 11am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm (Fleamasters hours are 10am - 5pm)*

**Weekend availability is required (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)**

***Reliable transportation is required***

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents
• Must be able to provide genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during every visit
• At least 1 year of retail sales or guest services
• High school diploma or GED required
• Video game knowledge
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach with arms / hands, climb on ladders, and lift merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. from ground level to minimum height of 4 feet
• Must be able to work alone and move throughout the store unassisted.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Proficient guest service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English; bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to operate POS computer system and properly complete required paperwork
• Working understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Working knowledge of alphabetizing
• Proficient self-motivation and ability to work as a team to complete necessary tasks in a timely manner
• Proficient problem solving skills and judgment abilities
• Proficient ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
