Career Growth Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Piping Foreman to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of experience leading mechanical crews (pipe welders, pipe fitters, and apprentices). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all piping activities on construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all piping activities on construction sites
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Supervise and train piping crews
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Estimate materials and labor costs for piping projects
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites
- Perform quality control inspections on piping installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve piping issues
- Maintain accurate records of all piping activities
- At least three years of experience leading crews
- 5+ years of experience as a pipe welder and/or pipefitter
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to estimate materials and labor costs for piping projects
- Knowledge of all safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve piping issues
