Pay: $24.00 (DOE)

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Fridays

Position Overview

The Quality Inspection Supervisor oversees daily inspection activities to ensure products meet ISO 9001 and AS9100/9102 quality standards . This role is responsible for safety, inspection accuracy, documentation, on-time delivery, and productivity while serving as a key link between Quality and Production teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 required
• AS9100 / AS9102 experience required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Proficient with inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, rulers, microscopes, and gauges
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification
• J-STD-001 certification
• Experience in aerospace, electronics, or precision manufacturing environments

What You'll Do:

• Conduct team meetings, training, and ongoing development

Supervise and support Quality Inspectors to ensure high performance

• Maintain inspector training records, certifications, and documentation
• Complete performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and interviews in accordance with company policy
• Review and approve timecards and PTO requests
• Assign inspectors to tasks based on skill level and production priorities
• Communicate quality directives including CAPA action s, audit findings, MRBs, ECR/ECNs, and Quality Alerts
• Review inspection documentation for accuracy and consistency

Quality & Technical Responsibilities

• Drive quality process improvements and corrective actions
• Support the development and maintenance of QMS documentation
• Conduct internal audits of processes, work instructions, and procedures
• Coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) with the Quality Engineer
• Review quality records to ensure procedural compliance
• Identify and resolve inspection process issues related to materials, equipment, workflow, or training
• Perform initial review of nonconforming material and collaborate on disposition
• Communicate quality or production issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Provide hands-on inspection support as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
